The House

Heredad de la Cueste is a rural house in Cangas de Onis (Asturias) with views to the hilltops of Los Picos de Europa. It is ideal for relaxing and pampering and available for booking per room only.

The accomodation is in an antique stone building with all characteristics of the houses in Asturias. It has traditional furniture carefully restored and installed comfortably into the present which gives every visit special character and will take our hosts back in time.

It comprises six rooms with bath, heater, TV & DVD. One room is a small suite with private sitting room and spa bath. Five rooms have double beds and one room has two single beds. Most of the rooms have excellent panoramic views and two are in the attic.

The ground floor provides a living room with fireplace, sitting room with TV-DVD, library (magazines, novels, local ,history books, nature and tourism literature, …), movie library (more the 200 movies on DVD), furthermore a space to dine as well as an area where succulent homemade breakfasts are served.

Located on a small hill with spectacular views of Los Picos de Europa, the house is surrounded by a big estate without any construction which allows having enough space to ensure tranquillity, privacy and indulgence of the landscape. During several months of the year cows graze through the estate soothing our visitors with their cow bells.

You can count on asphalted access and private parking.

The house is surrounded by a garden with numerous vegetables and plants of the season. It has a small playground for the children.

At the front of the house you find a patio where you can sit and gaze at Asturias’s landscape, enjoy a book, a sidra or a friendly chat.

The rent includes breakfast and daily cleaning service.

Pets are not allowed. Smoking is not allowed indoors.
